Founded in 2018, Brazen Girl is aiming to change the messaging of girl's apparel. Our mission is to outfit young girls in aspirational imagery that reflects their interests and ability to succeed in more traditional male arenas. The company's founder, Ryann Kivel, found herself frequently frustrated by the clothing options for her young daughter. She'd see boys' clothing depicting action sports, the outdoors and STEM themes (she remebers a cute "rocket science" onsie in particular). While the girls' clothing only seemed to feature hearts, flowers and sayings like "hey". As a graphic designer and entrepurnuer, she knew she could create something better.
Brazen Girl is located in Ashland, Oregon. All our graphics are produced by in-house designers and manufactured in the United States. We ship worldwide. $1 from every item sold gets donated to Girls, Inc., a charity that advocates on behalf of girls and delivers life-changing programs and experiences.
